MerriLee is married to Jeff, who is a licensed professional counselor. He was the former lead pastor at Missoula Alliance Church for 24 years. She is the proud mother of 3 daughters. One that was Miss Montana, with Miss America. Another that is getting her Masters in Philosophy, and her youngest is at Whitworth University in Spokane.

MerriLee has lived in Missoula for 29 years, and there is no place she would rather live! Her childhood years were spent in the Mission Valley and around Flathead Lake. Her hobbies are kayaking, home design, and photography.
